Grace Flack-Kaumeheiwa brings 13 years of nursing expertise across pediatrics and emergency medicine, specializing in perioperative care from pre-op to PACU. As a skilled Sedation Nurse, she has extensive experience providing care across all age groups, from infants to the elderly, in a variety of acute and complex situations.
Her areas of proficiency include IV insertion and drip management, central line access, chest tube management, and ventilator/trach management. Grace is adept at managing patients with complex diagnoses such as cardiac disorders, pediatric oncology, cerebral palsy, sickle cell anemia, cystic fibrosis, burns, non-accidental traumas, and diabetic ketoacidosis. Additionally, she is experienced in medication reconstitution and management, ensuring accurate and timely administration in critical care settings.
With six years of experience as a circulator in the operating room, Grace has worked in multiple specialties, including plastics, gastroenterology, orthopedics, neuro/spine, and gynecology. As a Legal Nurse Consultant, she applies her in-depth knowledge of healthcare practices to support legal cases, further extending her influence in the medical field. Grace’s diverse expertise and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable asset in any healthcare environment.
