Denise Kossar brings over 25 years of extensive nursing expertise to KARE, positioning her as a key clinical leader. With specialization in perioperative care, she has mastered all phases of surgery—pre-op, the operating room, and PACU—across a wide range of specialties. Her hands-on experience includes bedside procedures, ventilator management, IV drip management, and sedation nursing.
In addition to her perioperative skills, Denise has served on advanced teams such as ECMO and CRRT, managing critical care cases like external ventriculostomies. She has played a vital role in patient transport, ensuring the safe transfer of critically ill patients. Denise’s broad expertise spans NICU and PICU environments, providing top-tier care in the most challenging settings.
Beyond her clinical work, Denise is also a Legal Nurse Consultant, leveraging her vast experience to provide expert insights in legal cases. Her involvement in addiction recovery reflects her commitment to holistic patient care. Denise’s multifaceted background makes her a respected leader and an invaluable resource within the healthcare community.
